Workbench Feature/Functionality:

ProductAuthority® incorporates a product manager's Workbench that facilitates stakeholder collaboration by automating and managing the tasks and participants involved in the product development process. Workbench enables the testing of product rules and calculations prior to integration with consuming systems. The Workbench includes a Product Catalog that provides product stakeholders a view into the product repository giving them access to product features, rules, and data. Publishing capabilities integrated into the Workbench make it possible to generate complete product specifications directly from the ProductAuthority repository and to be able to compare any two published products to quickly and easily identify similarities and differences between the products.

Common Product Repository Product stakeholders do not have to be programmers to access the product repository which simplifies queries and collaboration. 
Manage the Product Development Process Workbench enables a carrier to build out their product development workflows including approvals and sign offs.
Product Compare Workbench provides a product compare feature, which enables a user to easily compare any two products to and identify differences. The compare can be done between versions of the same product, or completely different products.
Testing Workbench provides a testing facility that enables a user to test all rules that have been externalized before the product goes into production. The testing facility supports upload of test cases from Excel and provides validation of test case results against a set of pre-loaded acceptable results for those test cases.
