Brian Antonen Brian AntonenPartner, Celtic House Venture PartnersPrior to joining Celtic House in 2000, Brian Antonen was a senior technology analyst and partner at two Toronto brokerage firms, Paradigm Capital and Research Capital. He provided investment advice to leading institutional investors in Canada, the United States and Europe; and advised smaller capitalization technology firms on their financing activities. Prior to this, Brian spent six years in various roles at Nortel Networks. Beginning as a design engineer, he moved on to positions in finance and marketing. He was eventually responsible for strategic planning and business-development activities in the advanced intelligent networking business. Brian currently sits on the boards of Camilion Solutions, Fresco Microchip, Morega Systems, RedMere Technology, Sirific Wireless and ViXS Systems. In the past, he has served on the boards of Cogency Semiconductor, RedCelsius and SiberCore Technologies. Brian Antonen earned an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, and the Certified Management Accountants of Ontario. G. Raymond ChangChairman, CI Fund Management Inc.G. Raymond Chang is Chairman of the Board of Directors of CI Fund Management Inc. (TSE:CIX). In his 18 years at CI, Raymond has overseen the company's growth from a small money manager with $5 million in assets to Canada's second-largest fund company with more than $32 billion in fee-earning assets. He joined CI as Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer in 1984 from Coopers & Lybrand, where he was Manager of Emerging Business Services. He was promoted to President and COO of CI in 1994, when the firm went public. Two years later, he became President and Chief Executive Officer. Raymond was appointed Chairman in 1999. Raymond, a chartered accountant, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a bachelor of applied science degree from the University of Toronto. David AdderleyPartner and Chief Operating Officer, Celtic House Venture Partners Inc.David is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Celtic House. Since joining Celtic House in 2000, David has been instrumental in raising over $400 million of venture capital from institutional investors, and has been actively involved in negotiating, structuring and closing over 100 investments. He has advised and represented Celtic House on fourteen successful M&A and IPO transactions, with an aggregate value of $5 billion. Prior to joining Celtic House, David practised law with the national law firm of Gowling Lafleur Henderson, where his specialties were intellectual property law and corporate law. David sits on the board of Camilion Solutions and the Canadian Venture Capital Association. He has served on the boards of BlazePhotonics (acquired by Crystal Fibre), DragonWave (IPO on TSX and LSE -AIM), NewHeights Software (acquired by CounterPath) and Synad Technologies (acquired by STMicroelectronics). David received his undergraduate degree from Queen's University, and his law degree from the University of Western Ontario. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1997. Ross OrrettPresident & Chief Executive OfficerRoss joined Camilion as an independent board member in 2005 and later took the reins as President & CEO. With a proven ability to build successful companies, Ross´s primary focus is to guide Camilion through its next phase of growth; lead the company's sales execution as well as deliver industry-leading solutions and build an exceptional professional services and support organization to solidify Camilion's leadership position in the marketplace. Prior to joining Camilion, Ross founded AbovePlan Corporation, a software company providing On-Demand sales and marketing solutions for insurance. Camilion acquired AbovePlan in 2005. Prior to AbovePlan he was President & CEO of InSystems Corporation, a leading provider of document automation and relationship management solutions to the insurance and financial services industries. During his tenure, InSystems grew from a small entrepreneurial company with less than $1 million in revenues, to almost $40 million in revenues and over 300 customers. Ross holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the University of Waterloo and was a graduate of the Stanford University's Executive Program for Growing Companies. Andrew PinkertonInvestment Manager, Information TechnologyAndrew Pinkerton is a Investment Manager at GrowthWorks Capital focusing on information technology investments. Prior to joining the company in May 2003, Andrew worked in the Institutional Equity Research Groups at Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group, Deutsche Bank Technology Group and PaineWebber Technology Group in San Francisco, California. Andrew has also worked in the Investment Banking Division of Alex, Brown & Sons in Boston, Massachusetts. Andrew graduated Cum Laude from Harvard College and also graduated with an MBA from the Rotman School of Business at the University of Toronto. Andrew serves on the Board of Directors for Activplant Corporation, Camilion Solutions, Covarity Inc., CVD Diamond, eJust Systems and Terago (TSX: TGO) Networks. Rick StuckeyWith Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) from 1976 to 2000, Rick recorded many accomplishments, including the lead position for the group responsible for designing and installing portals and knowledge management systems for Accenture's clients. While at Accenture he also created a group to anticipate the impact of emerging technologies on the firm and its clients; lead the project which conceived and started the roll out of the Knowledge Xchange™, Accenture's internal knowledge management system which now supports over 70,000 users throughout the world; lead a group to design and implement CIM systems for clients and lead several groups which supported engagements involving then emerging technologies including minicomputers, personal computers and fault tolerant computers. Rick currently consults with start-up companies, helping them define and execute their strategic plans. |
