Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, Software Development, the Junior J2EE Software Developer is responsible for the development and testing of Camilion software.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development
- Design programs and classes, and produce program specifications
- Develop algorithms from program specifications
- Debug or enhance existing programs to specifications
- Code, document, and unit-test new programs and classes
- Participate in planned, structured integration tests of the software product
Product Development
- Prepare product literature and collateral materials for the software product
Customer Support
- Perform various tasks towards winning a customer sale
- Perform various tasks towards implementing our product at a customer site
- Provide any necessary customer support towards our product to enrich or improve the customer's experience with our company and product
Skills and Competencies:
- Must have: 1-2 years of development experience
- Must have: J2EE: JSP, Servlets, EJBs, JDBC
- Must have: SQL (Oracle 8.x, 9.x)
- Must have: Working towards a degree in computer science or equiv.
- Nice to haves: WAS 5.x, PL/SQL, JMS, DB2, JavaScript, HTML
Education:
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
