Job Title: Quality Software Tester

Accountabilities:
Software Testing
- Perform various QA Tasks, including test bed set-up, test case execution, and management of defects, expected results, and related documentation;
- Execute functional, regression (manual & automated), scalability, and installation testing of Camilion products on various platforms (Solaris/AIX/Linux/Windows, Oracle/DB2/MSSQL, WebSphere Application Server);
- Investigate, report, and track defects;
- Analyze test results;
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of J2EE, Java, JavaScript, Visual Basic, SQL
- Experienced in working on a complex multi-platform J2EE application
- Demonstrate success in applying good quality assurance practices to the validation of multiple feature areas of the product
- Strong grasp of software testing methodologies and approaches
- Good understanding of SDLC;
- Ability to learn quickly and perform at a high level with minimum supervision;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent communication skills – written & verbal;
- Obsessive attention to detail;
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 1+ years of commercial software testing experience;
- 1+ years of testing experience with web-based applications;
- 1+ years of experience with automated tools (Neoload/Selenium is a plus)
Education
- University degree in computer science or equivalent field.
