Job Title: Business Development & Sales Executive
The Senior Business Development & Sales Executive will play a key role in the growth and expansion of business services and product offerings at the Company. This position will support the sale of Client's Middleware software solutions to Banks and or Financial Service providers. Working as part of the sales team, this individual will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, acting as the subject matter expert (SME) in all product/service offerings and driving the sales cycle to closure. The Company is an early leader in an emerging market space. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in identifying tactical pain points that will lead to selling the overall strategic solution sale. Key areas of focus will include: participating in sales appointments, preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFP), establishing vision lock with the prospect, mining pain points and linking them to create the opportunity, providing guidance and counsel throughout the sales process, and assuring complete and accurate completion of design documentation and contract paperwork in support of complex agreements. Ongoing consultations with the sales and engineering teams after the sale is closed will be critical to ensure ongoing satisfaction with the Client and its products.

Main Accountabilities:
- Closing new business for Client.
- Executing all aspects of business development and sales policies, objectives and initiatives
- Prospecting & market/business opportunity analysis
- Sales leadership & strategy
- Drive sales through prospecting and market/business analysis
- Actively working the partner network to mine for potential opportunities, in particular, systems integrators and strategic business consultants
- Analyze customer requirements and needs to understand how Client's products and services can be applied to meet these needs and solve their problems. Design solutions for the customer that meets their business applications.
- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position the Client in the marketplace
- Respond to requests for bids and proposals by providing full documented technical solution that clearly outlines all technical components of solution
- In support of Enterprise Business Development, assure completion of all appropriate paperwork and contract completion
- Set appropriate expectations on timeline and project completion and provide regular project updates to internal customers (sales, technical operations)
- Adherence to all company standards and business professionalism.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Successful candidate will have more than 10 years proven experience working with Middleware software and/or core systems software to large banks in the US and Canada or financial services industry is a requirement
- Proven track record of achieving market development quotas and business objectives
- Expert in sales cycle development - from first point of contact to assisting sales executives guiding clients through the sales cycle, assisting with the implementation process, all the while maintaining an excellent rapport with the client
- Must have experience selling complex multi-tier opportunities with decision makers in both the business side and IT side of the house
- Must have proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas and demonstrated ability to uncover opportunities, build a strong pipeline, penetrate accounts, and close business
- Adept in developing and delivering technical presentations
- Secondary degree Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5+ years in technical/Enterprise sales
