PA401: Installation and Configuration

Objective:	Participants will learn how to install and configure the database and web application required to run Camilion's Authority Suite®. Participants will gain a conceptual understanding of the application architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. Participants will then learn how to create an operational application and properly manage the various processes for testing and troubleshooting, maintaining the application, backing up and archiving, and applying patches and upgrades. Finally, participants will learn how to promote/replicate an existing environment for the purpose of creating another instance. The lesson topics in this course are reinforced with structured hands-on lab exercises.
Target Audience:	This course targets IT Administrators who are responsible for installing, configuring, and deploying multiple instances of Authority Suite®.

Prerequisite:	PA100: Introducing Authority Suite® Moderate understanding of: Websphere Oracle Unix
